On December 13, 2022, the Linear Electron Accelerator Research Laboratory (PCELL), in collaboration with the Plasma and Nuclear Fusion Research Center, Faculty of Science, Chiang Mai University, organized a seminar featuring Prof. Dr. Hiroyuki Hama and his team from Tohoku University. The seminar took place at the meeting room on the 2nd floor of the Neutron Energy Research Building, Faculty of Science, Chiang Mai University. The topics covered were: - "Current activity at Research Center for Electron Photon Science, Tohoku University and THz research at t-ACTS facility" by Prof. Dr. Hiroyuki Hama - "Extreme short bunch length measurement based on Smith-Purcell radiation in THz region" by Mr. Hiroki Yamada - "Improvement of short bunch production by means of IQ modulated RF" by Mr. Shimon Yamada The seminar aimed to facilitate knowledge exchange on applications of linear electron accelerators, electron beam development, and fostering research collaboration between institutions.
