Seminar on the Application of Electron Accelerators and Spectroscopy in High-Speed Infrared and Terahertz Regions.

On February 9-10, 2023 (Thai calendar year 2566), the Linear Electron Accelerator Research Laboratory (PCELL) at the Physics Research Center for Plasma and Particle Beam, Faculty of Science, Chiang Mai University, in collaboration with the Thailand Excellence in Physics Center (ThEP), Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI), and the Department of Physics and Materials Science, organized a seminar on the application of electron accelerators and high-speed infrared and terahertz spectroscopy, along with practical training on the use of CST Studio Suite software for designing magnetic cores and equipment in particle accelerators. The event took place at the Seminar Room, 2nd Floor, 40th Anniversary Building, Faculty of Science, Chiang Mai University. The seminar aimed to provide participants with knowledge, understanding, and advancements in the development and application of linear electron accelerators and high-speed infrared and terahertz spectroscopy stations. It facilitated the exchange of knowledge on the practical application of linear electron accelerators and high-speed infrared and terahertz spectroscopy stations, and promoted collaborative research initiatives among various institutions.
